My abstract paintings are bright and beautiful, they’re all about having fun and not being afraid to be wonderfully weird. I experiment with colour daily in my art practice – pushing blobs of paint around a canvas to explore movement, composition, and emotion. It is in these moments of pure ‘colour play’ that I am at my most free, and my colour studies are the joyful results that form the basis for my paintings.
'Orange' was painted based on one of these colour studies. It’s a warm greeting for an old friend and a much overdue catch-up over many cups of tea at the end of a long, lazy summer.
‘Orange’ has been beautifully created as an art print based on the original painting to bring a bold splash of colour to your wall decor and make you smile.
