This piece of sky won my heart from the very first brushstroke. It billowed out of me in one glorious, messy, wet and joyful swoop of inspiration. It’s the kind of painting that took over and left me at the willing mercy of in-the-moment inspiration. 'Blue Spruce' captures all the light and joy I love to see in my work.
