'In Bloom' is a collection of contemporary floral art inspired by gardens bursting with colour. The collection brought together 18 original acrylic paintings, each exploring my signature white blossom through bold colour, abstract shapes and playful compositions.

The original paintings found their forever homes quickly, but many of them live on as fine art prints and floral art greeting cards, making it easy to bring a little floral joy to your walls or share it with someone you love.

The collection grew around my signature white blossom, which I explored again and again through colour and composition. Each abstract floral painting took on its own personality, telling its own story and revealing not just the beauty of the bloom, but also the evolution of my ideas as the series grew.

Colourful, slightly abstract, grown completely from my imagination and full of life, these floral artworks aren't about recreating flowers exactly as they appear in nature. Painting blossoms against colourful abstract backgrounds gives me the freedom to strip away the setting and focus on what fascinates me most: the shape, movement and personality of the flower itself.

They have a straightforward beauty, but can also be grand, dramatic and surprisingly complex. While they may seem simple at first glance, the more you look, the more there is to discover in the shape of a petal, the movement of a brushstroke or the way colour changes around a bloom.

Bold, expressive brushstrokes. Perfectly imperfect shapes. Colour that does the talking. And underneath it all, a feeling of calm, peace and simple joy.
