There is something about the unusual soft yellow-green in the background of 'Morning Light' that has me head over heels in love! It’s a colour I developed while planning this series of contemporary flower paintings and I knew it had to take center stage on a larger canvas. Paired with an elegant taupe and accentuated by chic white flowers, this painting, with its pop of pinkish-red flower centers, quickly became one of my favourites in the 'In Bloom' collection.
Painted as part of the 'In Bloom' collection of floral paintings in Summer 2021, 'Morning Light' has found its forever home. A selection of some of my favourite from the series along with some new additions continue to be available in my selection of floral fine art prints.
