Unlocking the extraordinary from the ordinary: Citrus is a painting refreshed by some honest feedback from a trusted studio friend. Was it too 'safe'? Maybe lacking the playfulness of my other paintings? She encouraged me to “get weird with it” and suddenly, I saw what she saw and knew she was right! Getting weird was fuel for my fire and all I needed to break out of the 'okay' zone I had been stuck in.
Bring on the orange! Here comes colour in a most excitingly unsafe and bold way! I loved playing with the energy this was painted with—a magnificent tango on the edge of danger—and feeling completely at one with the flow of intense citrus colour. To feel alive in the moment and have a squeeze of joy every time I look at the result is a beautiful thing.

The shipping charge at checkout reflects the cost to send rolled.
