I always enjoy the challenge of breaking down a landscape into its most abstract form, then playing around with what I imagine to be the essential elements I'm left with. Pumping up the colours, massaging the shapes, and creating a whole new scene that feels both inspired by the land but also a million, beautiful, imagined miles away.
This original abstract painting is varnished and wired for hanging so that you can add it to your wall art and enjoy it immediately.
