Evening Shade

Sometimes the paint takes over and a piece evolves in a beautiful way almost beyond my control. The feeling of that is like no other. It's a thrill, it's curious, it's exciting and leaves me a bit mystified. So long as the end result is as magnificent as this... Bring it on!

Sunset skies are tricky and can get a bit cliché. We've all seen the inspirational posters. Or sympathy card-ish right? And my big white clouds disappear in a typical sunset sky.

So I did it my way, followed my heart and am in love!
