I spend time each day pushing paint around a canvas, exploring colour, composition and searching for the moment when I see things coming together in a way where I see that there is something 'there.' That moment (when it happens) is such a thrill! The colour studies that are the joyful result of my adventures with colour become the basis for my abstract paintings, and my abstract work celebrates these moments of creative inspiration.
The bright & beautiful abstracts in my 'Detours' series are thoughtful, spontaneous and a bit offbeat. It's a collection that shamelessly celebrates my fondness for the wacky side of life!
'Purple' is a beautiful example of this. 'Purple' colours outside of the lines, explores without a compass and marvels at the journey. It's a round peg in a square hole and confidently so. Fashionably clever, interesting, confident, and kind. We should all be more purple!
Although the original painting has found a home, it remains available as a fine art print. Beautifully created on museum-quality paper, it makes a bold statement and adds a striking detail to wall decor.

The size shown for an abstract art print on fine art paper is the final sheet size, which includes a 1” border. The border gives the image ‘room to breathe’ and leaves some space for my signature as well as space to accommodate framing with a mat.
The size shown for a canvas art print is the image size. Your canvas print will arrive rolled with an additional 2” border (white or printed) so you can wrap this around the stretcher frame of your choice. My signature runs vertically up the right side of the border.

My abstract art prints are available on museum quality fine art paper or canvas with archival pigment inks, ensuring that the colors and details remain vibrant and crisp for years to come.
Prints created on fine art paper are created with a 1” border - the print size refers to the cut paper size including the border.
Canvas art prints are created with an extra 2” border for wrapping around a stretcher frame. This is available as white or printed with an extension of the image.
