A larger canvas gives me more room to play with bigger brushes, and the brushstrokes here really show how much fun I had with this painting! I love how these juicy blooms stand out against the slate blue backdrop, and how the vase catches the light and shadows in the stems. This painting is a joyful arrangement of contemporary floral colour, holding both charisma and charm in her smile.
