There's something so alluring, so powerful about a sea sky and a horizon that stretches as far as the eye can see. I've had the name for this painting in mind for ages, knowing I wanted to capture that expansive, never-ending feeling of tidal waves flowing under the salty clouds. A palette limited to the moody blue grays of a seaside day allowed me to focus on creating 'the motion of the ocean' in the sky. Swirling, swooping, voluminous clouds, all together feeling powerful yet calming, much like the way waves of wind can be. Ever-changing, ever-moving, and evoking a never-ending sense of awe, from sea to sky.

The size shown for an art print on fine art paper is the final sheet size, which includes a 1” border. The border gives the image ‘room to breathe’ and leave some space for my signature as well as space to accommodate framing with a mat.
The size shown for a canvas art print is the image size. Your canvas print will arrive rolled with an additional 2” border (white or printed) so you can wrap this around the stretcher frame of your choice. My signature runs vertically up the right side of the border.
