I hiked through mist and fog, over slippery rocks, and sticky mud for this view! One that struck me as so beautiful, so peaceful yet so charged with energy that it bore straight into my heart. Alone with the trees, water gently lapping at the shore, watching the light break through on the horizon. I could have stood there for hours. I think maybe I did, inhaling every detail, every ounce of feeling for this painting.
