I almost don’t remember painting this gorgeous piece—that’s how deeply I was connected to the process, head over heels lost in the flow. It was a glorious swoosh of joy, spilling out onto the canvas in bright colour and fluid brushwork. I had the name well before I finished and used it as my guiding light, keeping every touch from abstract petal to stunning stem full of life and spring.
