Tall, scratchy grass borders a long portion of my bike path and struck me as a great way to frame this view of the field beyond. Spring hay fields that are just starting to come back to life after a winter rest. This early stage of the growing season, while looking quietly idle, still feels full of life and lets me see so clearly the streaks and ribbons of light and shadow stretching from the sky to the land.
