'In Bloom - dark blue'

A rich and deeper take on the beautiful bloom central to this collection. I just love the darker intensity of this little one!

The background of this painting is darker and more moody than the other paintings in the ‘In Bloom’ series. I wanted to combine a dark background with bright white floral to elevate the abstract design of the blossom and makes it feel more modern, more 'edgy.' 

Painted in acrylics on canvas I hope I captured the abundant beauty of a flower even in the evening when a blossom is surrounded by darkness. This abstract floral makes a statement and while the original painting has sold it is now available as a fine art print.
