I let my imagination roam back through my memory bank for this breezy painting—a window into one of the most peaceful moments in nature I've ever experienced. It was during a pause on a solo canoe trip, a moment I could feel soaking into my heart.
It was just me and the wind, the rippling water, the bird song and the gentle heartbeat of the distant forest. I knew I wanted to hang on to that moment for life, and I have.
