My memory of this view is crystal clear. It was a magnificent spot at the tail end of a kayaking odyssey into unfamiliar waters, well beyond the edges of familiarity. Lost in the rhythm of paddling and the hush of the water against the hull, time and distance slipped away. I leanded back, savouring the solitude and the feeling of being at one with the moment—just me, the lake and one long, uninterrupted, gorgeous view. That afternoon, the currents carried me home with surprisingly little effort on my part. The lakes looked after me, as they always do.
'Longshore' is a wide-format artwork from 'Lakelands', a collection inspired by my deep connection to the outdoors. Each brushstroke evokes memories of tranquil lakes, winding rivers, and unforgettable camping adventures. With 'Longshore' I aim to capture the essence of a thousand shimmering lakes mirroring the sky, framed by untouched forest.

The size shown for an art print on fine art paper is the final sheet size, which includes a 1” border. The border gives the image ‘room to breathe’ and leave some space for my signature as well as space to accommodate framing with a mat.
The size shown for a canvas art print is the image size. Your canvas print will arrive rolled with an additional 2” border (white or printed) that you can wrap around the stretcher frame of your choice. My signature runs vertically up the right side of the border.
