'Mint'

Fine Art Print

This piece feels like so many of the refreshing summer treats that we all love and is as bright and fresh as mint itself. A deep plunge into cool waters. A rainbow caught in the mist of a backyard sprinkler. A dripping popsicle enjoyed while sitting on freshly cut grass under a shady tree as a breeze rustles through the leaves. It's a refreshing break from the heat and a joyful summertime moment.

It feels like I've added to the rainbow with this collection of 'Summer Detours' abstract paintings and prints. They’re a celebration of long, blissful sunshine-y days when the windows are always open and blowing a great breeze. I set out to capture that special summer feeling by using a larger canvas size for the original paintings in the series, to give me more room for my brushstrokes to flow and movement to develop, reflecting both the little pleasures and playful moments of summer fun.

‘Mint’ has been beautifully created as a fine art print from the original abstract acrylic painting on museum-quality paper with archival pigment inks. Available in several sizes it brings the delights of summer into your home year round.
