I’ve always had a special fondness for the paintings that reflect my quieter, more introspective side. These are the pieces that come to life on rainy days when I’m gently moving through the studio, listening to the soft rhythm of raindrops outside. They’re quiet paintings — soft-spoken but still full of playful colour and graceful shapes in every brushstroke.
This little bunch of flowers, with its unusually beautiful, harmonious palette, is one of those pieces. Just a simple smile, and a warm and friendly hug from the garden.
