The secret's out. I am completely, hopelessly in love. Not just with colour, but with painting itself. With every blobby, globby, gloriously messy moment that turns an idea into something alive. This collection of abstract paintings is my love letter to the creative process and to the joy, challenge, and wonder that comes with making art.

Some days in the studio are playful and free flowing. I get lost in colour and imagination, where strange ideas and unexpected shapes appear and make me laugh out loud. These are the moments when abstract painting feels spontanteous and full of energy, when colours and brushstrokes lead the way.

Other days ask for more patience and honesty. Tougher days can twist, challenge, and surprise me, asking for more feeling and more reflection than I expected. Yet all of it belongs together. The chaos, the beauty, and the discoveries have become part of a lifelong love for painting and for the language of abstract expression. I’m utterly smitten.

Each piece in this series of abstracts carries a love story of its own, told through brushstrokes and bursts of colour. It’s not just about holding a brush (though, truly, that’s one of my happiest places), but about everything that surrounds it: quiet moments of dreaming, observing, and reflecting that surround life in the studio.

Painting has changed how I see the world. it has deepened what I value and stretched me in every possible way. It asks a lot, but gives me more in return, and I wouldn't trade a single messy, magical moment of it.
