There is something about the unusually soft yellow-green in the background that has me head over heels in love! It’s a colour I developed while planning this series of contemporary flower paintings, and I knew instantly that I just HAD to use it on a larger scale. This soft yellow colour is such a beautiful pairing with taupe, giving this abstract flower painting a sophisticated tone. Add to that chic white flowers with their pop of pinkish-red centers, and you have all the ingredients for one of my favourite paintings in the series.
