Fine Art Print

Some paintings explore the mind, others explore emotions. In ‘Turquoise,’ I examined the creative thinking behind each brushstroke, playing with shape and composition and measuring movement to consider the interplay between light and dark and the balance of colours.

Evaluating which elements of a composition stay, which go, and which change is an intriguing and entirely internal process that somehow still amazes me. With my brush, I can tickle every inch of curiosity until the final result appears and feels as complete as this exquisite burst of colour.

Among the abstract colorful and prints in my “Summer Detours” collection, ‘Turquoise’ is a colourful standout extending a challenge to immerse yourself in a thoughtful pool of colour. It's a strong, modern composition full of possibilities. Is this the vision of a long gaze through crystalline water, or something silhouetted across the sky? A brightly coloured swim cap? A blossom? A hot air balloon floating across the sky?

‘Turquoise’ has been beautifully created as a fine art print from the original acrylic painting to welcome the delights of sun-drenched days into your home all year round.
