There is something utterly enchanting about 'Rose'. It's one of those paintings that I've fallen completely in love with, even though I don't really know why. She defies convention with a cheeky grin, skipping through the palette picking colours on a whim and blushing with happy pride because she knows how fabulous she is. I must agree. She's a knockout.
'Rose' is one of the abstract paintings in my 'Summer Detours' collection of paintings and prints that capture the joy of sunshine-filled days with warm summer colours. Each painting in the collection is bursting with happy memories to make you and the people around you smile.
Beautifully created as an art print based on the original acrylic painting, 'Rose' is a vibrant uninhibited expression of spontaneity and my love of colour. I used larger canvases for the originals to give me extra space to add movement and interest to the backgrounds, which adds lovely subtlety to the art print format. The final result is a charismatic reflection of cheeky summer energy, and the feeling of a carefree summer day filled with wonderful people and laughter.

The size shown for an abstract art print on fine art paper is the final sheet size, which includes a 1” border. The border gives the image ‘room to breathe’ and leaves some space for my signature as well as space to accommodate framing with a mat.
The size shown for a canvas art print is the image size. Your canvas print will arrive rolled with an additional 2” border (white or printed) so you can wrap this around the stretcher frame of your choice. My signature runs vertically up the right side of the border.
