My own "garden", for all my efforts, is mostly an overgrown, tangled jumble of greenery and weeds with the occasional hint of flowers. I love the natural mess of it all - it's small, but to me, it's beautiful and forever in flux. I wanted to take this untamed spirit into the studio and let myself play with colour in much the same way. Wild but considered, loose but intentional, brushstrokes full of life. THIS is the joy of my garden.
