Forests are sacred places. There is a quality of air, a scent of nature, a sound to the silence, that renews weary spirits and soothes a ruffled soul. I wanted to create a painting that captured the magnificent essence of a forest and honoured my love for time amongst the trees.
This fine art print was created from an forest acrylic painting, the story of which you can find on my blog.
The result of the challenging journey to paint 'Deep Woods' is this engrossing, semi-abstract and stylized forest painting. It's a bold statement that conveys the tranquillity of the depths of a forest. The size shown for an art print on fine art paper is the final sheet size, which includes a 1” border. The border gives the image ‘room to breathe’ and leave some space for my signature as well as space to accommodate framing with a mat.
The size shown for a canvas art print is the image size. Your canvas print will arrive rolled with an additional 2” border (white or printed) so you can wrap this around the stretcher frame of your choice.

My sky art prints are available on museum quality fine art paper or canvas with archival pigment inks, ensuring that the colors and details remain vibrant and crisp for years to come.
Prints created on fine art paper are created with a 1” border - the print size refers to the cut paper size including the border.
Canvas art prints are created with a 2” border which is available white or printed with an extension of the image.
