Stepping away from the snow and ice building up outside the studio window I let my mind (and my brush!) wander somewhere much warmer instead. I wanted to capture that quiet 'in-between' moment between day and night, when the evening sky just melts into the horizon. Between the layers of green land and a sliver of a blue lake in the distance, this small painting has a very expansive feeling.
Signed and labelled on the reverse. Varnished and wired for hanging.
