A mid-summer blossom seen through misty morning light caught my eye walking to the studio and I felt the sudden strike of an idea. I love moments when the ideas come to me so fully formed that my only job is to take to the canvas and let the colour flow through me, as it did here - perfect in every way, right from the start.
