There’s a garden I pass every morning as I walk my dog to the park, and I’m sure it was planted by someone who absolutely LOVES spring. This time of year, it’s bursting with every imaginable spring flower. It’s a disorganized but delightful jumble of nature — little pops of colour tangled in amongst other pops of colour, teeny petals angling for space beside giant, showy blooms, all propped up by driftwood and found rocks.
I stop regularly to take pictures (and yes, to stick my nose into her lilac tree!). For all its glory, there’s something gentle about the overall effect, especially the way the wind sways through the leaves. It’s simply lovely, and I used its speckled sunlight and scattering of flowers as inspiration for this light-filled spring bouquet painting.

Original paintings are shipped securely packaged and sent with tracking.
Because of widely varying costs, shipping larger paintings outside Canada and the US is not configured as standard, but we are happy to organize this!

Please note: International shipping charges do not include import taxes, customs duties, or other fees that may apply upon entry to the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and must be paid once the shipment arrives.

Original artwork remains tariff-free when shipped to the US, although couriers routinely charge a handling or brokerage fee upon delivery. This isn’t a tariff, but a fee for processing the customs clearance, and these charges are set entirely by the courier, so I’m not able to see them in advance.
