Yes, I can be surprised by my own work! Sometimes, I’m not the one fully in charge of my brush. I might set off with the plan to go one way (let’s paint a light, feminine spring bouquet), but before I know it, paint and inspiration take me on an unplanned, curious detour: a darker, bolder direction perhaps?
That’s the magic of creating original art. Trusting the process, letting go of control, and following the breadcrumbs my imagination lays out before me. It’s deeply satisfying to see all those uncertain hours of work come together as such an original, unexpected, joyful piece of art.

Original paintings are shipped securely packaged and sent with tracking.
Because of widely varying costs, shipping larger paintings outside Canada and the US is not configured as standard, but we are happy to organize this!

Please note: International shipping charges do not include import taxes, customs duties, or other fees that may apply upon entry to the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and must be paid once the shipment arrives.

Original artwork remains tariff-free when shipped to the US, although couriers routinely charge a handling or brokerage fee upon delivery. This isn’t a tariff, but a fee for processing the customs clearance, and these charges are set entirely by the courier, so I’m not able to see them in advance.
