At this time of year, my walk to the studio seems to be lined with gardens bursting in yellow. Bright, cheerful, joyful yellow! So, it was only a matter of time before I set out to capture on canvas the sight of friendly daffodils bobbing in the sunshine.
And yet… I’ll admit, this painting nearly didn’t make it across the finish line. It ended up being one of the hardest pieces in this collection. It was a million times more challenging than I expected for such a simple palette and straight-forward idea. Though it was the first I started, it became the last I finished after hours upon hours of fixing, unfixing, and ultimately finding my way to something wildly happy and full of life.
Please note the subtle surface texture on this painting, a sign of the many creative turns, paint layers, and thoughtful adjustments that led to its final, beautiful form.

Original paintings are shipped securely packaged and sent with tracking.
Because of widely varying costs, shipping larger paintings outside Canada and the US is not configured as standard, but we are happy to organize this!

Please note: International shipping charges do not include import taxes, customs duties, or other fees that may apply upon entry to the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and must be paid once the shipment arrives.

Original artwork remains tariff-free when shipped to the US, although couriers routinely charge a handling or brokerage fee upon delivery. This isn’t a tariff, but a fee for processing the customs clearance, and these charges are set entirely by the courier, so I’m not able to see them in advance.
