It took some time for me to learn to love purple. I never really understood its strength or dazzling variety of beauty since it always seemed a little beyond my comfort zone. Maybe I was fearful of my unknowingness, unwilling to venture out, or just a colour snob. I'm pleased to see more and more purples, like this magenta grape, appearing in my abstract art because they're so much fun. Purple's the life of the party! If there's a painting that will tempt you out onto the dance floor, this is it!

My vibrant abstract art prints are spontaneous expressions of my unrestrained love of colour. The original paintings in the 'Summer Detours' were created on larger canvases to give me more room blend and mix colours and give the backgrounds movement and interest. This subtlety translates beautifully to the art print format creating a wonderful reflection of the spirit of a carefree summer day filled with beautiful souls, brilliant sunshine, and laughter.

The size shown for an abstract art print on fine art paper is the final sheet size, which includes a 1” border. The border gives the image ‘room to breathe’ and leaves some space for my signature as well as space to accommodate framing with a mat.
The size shown for a canvas art print is the image size. Your canvas print will arrive rolled with an additional 2” border (white or printed) so you can wrap this around the stretcher frame of your choice. My signature runs vertically up the right side of the border.
