With the lively joy of pink, the majesty of purple, plus a touch of blue’s wisdom, mauve lands marvellously in the world of my imagination and this painting has it whole-heartedly. By shifting the colour wheel slightly, this palette and colour story become more contemporary, and with the addition of that loop of fresh green infuses a sense of fun. I'm always thrilled when a painting leads me to a place that's complex and interesting in its simplicity. Here, I find that place to be absolutely ‘Mauvellous.’
