"Inspiration came at the end of a long bike ride away from a long day after a long week. I needed silence; to be quiet with nothing but nature around me and a slowly sinking sunset overhead. That beautiful moment of perfect stillness translated effortlessly to the canvas, and just looking at this painting now reminds me to pause, breathe and be still.  There is wisdom in stilling."
