Sometimes all it takes is one rogue brushstroke for the intention of a painting to veer off into its own direction. That's the point at which I'm simply the one holding the brush and trying to rein in the ideas in a spur-of-the-moment, inspired way. What emerged on the canvas was a beautifully powerful, just-evening sky.

The colour intensity in the late afternoon on this day is unrivalled: vivid turquoise and blues at the horizon line blending through clouds into mauves and greys, the light illuminating rolling grassy hills that stretch far into the distance.

The size shown for an art print on fine art paper is the final sheet size, which includes a 1” border. The border gives the image ‘room to breathe’ and leave some space for my signature as well as space to accommodate framing with a mat.
The size shown for a canvas art print is the image size. Your canvas print will arrive rolled with an additional 2” border (white or printed) so you can wrap this around the stretcher frame of your choice. My signature runs vertically up the right side of the border.
