I wanted to capture the same sense of mystery in this little abstract sky painting as I did in the large original that lies behind my limited edition print, 'Evening Shade.' It's a sunset painting that "isn't" — at least not in the traditional sense. It's a sky that imagines the inky darkness of the wee hours if the colours from the evening before could still cling to the horizon.
This little original painting is signed on the reverse side and will arrive varnished and ready for immediate hanging.
