Introducing a new green to my palette, Deep Sea Kelp, and discovering the family of colours it naturally sits alongside made this small abstract floral painting both a joy and a challenge.
There is a lively harmony in this gathering of rich garden greens, lifted by juicy hints of plum and softened with loose, carefree touches of white and warm neutrals.
Please note: this piece has a softly textured surface, created through carefully layered paint.
