The sky began to rumble when I was about as far from home as I could be. With no chance of outriding the clouds or staying dry, I stopped to watch the rainstorm roll across the landscape.
There’s something unforgettable about experiencing powerful weather while standing right out there in the middle of it. The rain didn’t last long, but the dramatic sky, rushing clouds and thorough soaking stayed with me, eventually finding their way into this painting.
This fine art reproduction captures the dramatic sky, expressive brushwork and shifting colour of the original painting for you to enjoy on your walls.

The size shown for an art print on fine art paper is the final sheet size, which includes a 1” border. The border gives the image ‘room to breathe’ and leave some space for my signature as well as space to accommodate framing with a mat.
The size shown for a canvas art print is the image size. Your canvas print will arrive rolled with an additional 2” border (white or printed) so you can wrap this around the stretcher frame of your choice. My signature runs vertically up the right side of the border.
