I'm hearing birdsong as I paint these days—chirps and cheeps outside my window and a robin’s nest (oh, those blue eggs!) on my front porch. Spring brings a renewal of life, a reintroduction to colour, a welcoming of light. I translated that blue sky birdsong into this painting. She is bright and happy and sings in colour.
