Pulling colours from a warm summer sunset and reimaging them in abstract form with this colourful, end-of-day abstract. This is a wonderful example of how intense colours when carefully balanced in saturation and flow of line and shape, can paradoxically create peaceful paintings. I love finding a feeling of complete harmony within unusual colour palettes—it's the perfect destination at the end of a colour journey!
"Pillowmint" was painted on a lightweight MDF panel, perfectly sized to fit any standard frame.
